- Damsel, a two-story cabaret restaurant and supper club, is now open at The Works. Grab a reservation and check it out!
- The exhibit “Dutch Art in a Global Age: Masterpieces from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston” opens Friday at the High Museum of Art.
- George Bizet’s “Carmen” is on stage at Rialto Center for the Arts Saturday and Sunday, performed by the Georgia State Opera Theater.
- Dad’s Garage presents “To Peach Their Own,” Saturday through May 4. Scenes, songs and characters take a look at Atlanta in a way that only Dad’s Garage can. “To Peach Their Own” is a new and original comedy revue that will leave you peach-less.
- This Saturday and Sunday is Alpharetta’s Art in the Park at Brooke Street Park
- MODA (Museum of Design Atlanta) opens the exhibit “Al Dente: The Design of Pasta” on Friday.
- Portuguese virtuoso Maria João Pires makes her Atlanta Symphony Orchestra debut as she joins music director Nathalie Stutzmann and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4.
- 7 Stages presents Mozart’s opera, “Don Giovanni,” sung in English with a new modern translation backed by a rock orchestra. See it through April 21.
- “Mercury” is on the stage at Actor’s Express – King Plow Arts Center from April 11th to April 28th.
More fun things!
- Saturday and Sunday bring the SweetWater 420 Fest to Pullman Yards. Gates open at 2 p.m. both days and the party continues until 11 p.m.
- The Atlanta Comic Convention brings comic books, toys, movie posters, Pokémon and plenty more to the Marriott Hotel Century Center from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday.
- The Georgia Renaissance Festival, a trek back to the 16th century, opens Saturday and runs weekends through June 2.
- Celebrate the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s during Sips Under the Sea — Decades at Georgia Aquarium Friday from 7 to 10 p.m.
- Illumine returns to Oakland Cemetery this weekend, Thursday through Sunday and again April 25-28.
- Reynoldstown Farmer’s Market – Located in the shady parking lot in front of Lang Carson Recreation Center at 100 Flat Shoals Ave, SE Atlanta, the market is just 100 yards off the Beltline. Join the neighbors of Reynoldstown Sundays from noon to 3pm for this festive market.
The Balloon Museum at Pullman Yards is flying high through April 14.
Oakhurst Jazz Nights – The Solarium (Decatur) Jazz it up with the Oakhurst Neighborhood Association for the 20th season of Oakhurst Jazz Nights, featuring free outdoor jazz concerts every Thursday in April at the Solarium, promising an evening of musical delight. oakhurstjazznights.com Thursdays (April 4, 11, 18 and 25) from 7 – 9 p.m.

- Saturday is Little Critters Day at Fernbank Museum of Natural History.
- Earth Day at Atlanta Botanical Garden this Friday (19th) from 10-12 – Includes activities, performances and more!
- Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s Music for the Very Young series presents “The Velveteen Rabbit” through Saturday at the Rich Theatre at the Woodruff Arts Center.
- “Spiders — From Fear to Fascination” is on view at Fernbank Museum of Natural History through May 5.
- “Stellaluna‘ is playing at Center for Puppetry Arts through May 19.
- Dino Festival at Stone Mountain Park runs through April 28. Check the Stone Mountain Park website for specific times and dates for various events.
- The popular exhibit Flora, Fauna & Flight returns to Fernbank Museum of Natural History on Saturday March 23rd and continues through June 23.
- The Children’s Museum of Atlanta hosts “Outside the Box”. The exhibit runs through May 5. “Outside the Box” aims to fuel children’s imaginations by unleashing a world of timeless fun.

- Atlanta United and FC Cincinnati play at Mercedes-Benz Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
- The Atlanta Braves welcome the Texas Rangers for a three-game series at Truist Park this weekend.
