Art & comedy
- On the second Sunday of each month the High Museum of Art offers free admission from noon until 5 p.m. for all visitors and special family-friendly programming.
- Mary J. Blige and Lauren Hill bring the Strength of a Woman Festival to State Farm Arena Friday and Saturday.
- Start your weekends unwinding with live musical performances in The Colony Square Plaza every Friday from April to October.
- Fox Theatre presents a benefit concert to raise money to preserve Georgia’s historic theaters and expand the Fox Theatre’s education programs.
- On Saturday and Sunday the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra presents “Star Wars: The Force Awakens In Concert” featuring a screening of the complete film with Oscar-winning composer John Williams’ musical score performed live to the film. Saturday’s performance starts at 7:30 p.m., Sunday’s at 3 p.m.
- The city of Atlanta presents 31 Days of Jazz throughout May.
- The Woodstock Summer Concert Series in Woodstock returns – All concerts begin at 7:30 PM. All concerts are free of charge, no tickets are required.
- Dunwoody Art Festival 2023 – May 13th and 14th
- ‘Ruthless! The Musical‘ is showing at Out Front Theatre through May 20.
- Don’t Miss Cats, the Award-Winning Musical, at City Springs Theatre May 5-21.
- “As You Like It” is playing at the Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse through May 28.
- Jazzy Sundays in the Parks: Discovery Green – Free concert series celebrating the legacy of jazz.
- The Marietta Square Artisan Market is an outdoor market that features local art and hand-crafted items. It takes place on most Saturdays, year-round.

- The Latino Family Festival is on this weekend and next weekend at Stone Mountain Park. Celebrating Latino music, dance and culture, the festival features live international talent including dancers, a marching band, storytellers, and a drone and light show.
- Atlanta Botanical Gardens is hosting the exhibit, “Trolls: Save the Humans” by Thomas Dambo through Sept. 17.
