- FUNNY GIRL, the sensational musical comedy revival, is coming to Atlanta’s Fox Theatre for a limited one-week engagement from July 30 – Aug. 4 as part of the Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2023/2024 season.
- SKETCHWORKS+ (PLUS) A live sketch comedy show about all things streaming – August 2 , 3, 9 and 10 at Limelight Theater in Decatur!

- Atlanta Humane Society joins the list of notable places in Atlanta that sport one of the city’s unique Tiny Doors. The reveal is set for noon until 4 p.m. Saturday.
- 10th Annual Cobb International Film Festival – 8/1/24 – 8/4/24 – Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre
- Atlantic Station hosts Creator’s Market from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Saturdays and noon until 7 p.m. Sundays, every weekend through December.

- Colony Square plans a Parliament of Owls Midtown Lantern Parade Saturday from 8 until 10 p.m. Parliament of Owls is a black and white owl-themed community lantern parade featuring a brass band and parade-goers marching down Peachtree Street. Parade attire is black and white. You do need an owl lantern to march in the parade. This year, the route will pass through the new Midtown Art Walk.
- Centennial Yards’ Friday Vibe event is happening at the Steele Bridge Friday night from 5 until 9 p.m. There will be music, food and activities
- Little 5 Points Historic Walking Tours.
- Rise and Dine with the Animals at the Zoo, where you can enjoy a continental breakfast while also enjoying an early morning view of the animals as they get ready to start their day.

- The Children’s Museum of Atlanta has opened its third installment of the Step Up to Science exhibit. There are opportunities to explore shadows, sources of light, color theory and vibrations.
- The Summer is in FULL SIZZLE! Come join The Home Depot Backyard as they kick off the Piedmont Summer Movie Experience with Backyard Bash on SATURDAY, August 3 from 6:00-11:00 p.m. Enjoy an evening of food trucks, entertainment, vendors, games, and more capped off by a featured movie on the lawn right next to Mercedes-Benz Stadium!
- The Center for Puppetry Arts is showing “Sesame Street The Musical through Aug. 4.
- A Mirror Maze: Numbers in Nature – On view June 8 – Sept. 9, 2024 at Fernbank Museum.
- Atlanta Botanical Garden presents “Alice’s Wonderland Returns” through Sept. 15. The exhibit features seven installations of 22 of the topiary-like mosaiculture pieces throughout the garden.
- Join Atlantic Station’s Green Space for the 6th annual eSTEAM Fair! This is a fun, educational and interactive experience for K-12 students. At the eSTEAM Fair, you will get the chance to interact with exhibitors who will showcase, present and/or demonstrate STEAM related items that introduce students to the diverse options that are available in our participating industries. - The East Lake Foundation proudly hosts the Run for East Lake 5K & Fun Run. This dynamic event, presented by the East Lake Family YMCA, promises an exhilarating journey through the heart of the East Lake community.
- Chattahoochee Nature Center invites you to enjoy Breakfast with Butterflies on Sunday from 10 a.m. until noon. There will be a light breakfast. You will encounter several species of butterflies and explore the grounds prior to opening.
- Embark on a global adventure this summer to celebrate the 2024 Olympic Games at The Interlock. From July 26 through Aug. 11, the West Midtown neighborhood is invited to get their passports stamped and travel from country to country while sipping themed cocktails, tasting new cuisines, cheering on their favorite athletes and more. Guests celebrating the Olympics can pick up their passports at The Interlock’s home country, Saint Germain.
- The Miami Marlins are in town Thursday through Sunday for a four-game series against the Atlanta Braves. Thursday’s game, beginning at 7:20 p.m., features a Ronald Acuña Jr. 41 Home Runs bobblehead giveaway. Friday night’s game, starting at 7:20 p.m., includes a portable speaker giveaway. On Saturday, a concert by Party Nation precedes the 7:20 p.m. game. Sunday is Alumni Sunday with first pitch at 1:35 p.m.
