- The new Cirque du Soleil show “Echo” is open under the big top at Atlantic Station.
- See “Pericles: Prince of Tyre” at Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse Saturday through Jan. 27.
- The exhibit, “Beatrix Potter: Drawn to Nature” is on display at the High Museum of Art and runs through Sunday. And The High Museum of Art also presents the exhibit, “A Long Arc: Photography and the American South since 1845.”

- Garden Lights, Holiday Nights, the award-winning light extravaganza at Atlanta Botanical Garden, is open through Jan. 14.
- Rooftop Igloos: Skate the Sky + 9 Mile Station at Ponce City Market.
- First Shop Sunday Funday of the Year in East Point! Enjoy a spectacular shopping extravaganza on January 7th filled with local treasures, arts & crafts, delightful cocktails, Golda Kombucha, and the most mouthwatering hot dogs in town!
For the family:
- State Farm Area is the place to be to see the Hot Wheels Monster Truck Live Glow Party. The lights go down and the Hot Wheels begin to glow at 12:30 or 7:30 p.m. on Saturday or 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
- Wildwoods: AGLOW at Fernbank Museum of Natural History will remain open on select nights through Feb. 25.
- Emotions at Play with Pixar’s “Inside Out” is open at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta through Sunday.
- Westside Sports League is a Year-round program for youth in grades 3rd to 12th. Youth participate in sports such as baseball, lacrosse, soccer, and volleyball.
Sports, fitness & outdoors:
- Watch amateur basketball at Atlantic Station’s Overtime Elite Arena this weekend.
- Joint the “Freakin Freezin 5K at the Atlanta Beltline Trailhead at Bobby Jone Golf Course this Saturday at 9am.
- Skate the Station is still at Atlantic Station, and all are invited to skate under the stars through Jan 15th!

- The College Football Hall of Fame and Coca-Cola are embracing the giving spirit of the holiday season, partnering once again to present the annual college student ID promotion. With this promotion, the first 500 students who provide a valid college student ID between now and January 8, will receive complimentary admission to the Hall of Fame
