- Atlanta Symphony Orchestra music director Nathalie Stutzman conducts Beethoven and Boléro this weekend at Atlanta Symphony Hall during the orchestra’s season finale. Performances are Thursday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.

- Food Truck Friday in VaHi – Friday 6pm
- Experience Atlanta’s Juneteenth Parade and Festival, a celebration of freedom and unity featuring live music, cultural activities, delectable cuisine, and a vibrant parade. Friday, June 16 – Sunday, June 18.
- Celebrate Juneteenth at historic Oakland Cemetery with a family-friendly event featuring live music, food vendors, children’s storytelling, tours, a vendor market and more. Join in honoring the significance of Juneteenth and the achievements and economic reconstruction of the African American community. Saturday, June 17 from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Celebrate Juneteenth at the Atlanta History Center with live music, food, storytelling, interactive crafts and workshops on Black genealogy and preserving family artifacts.

- Mayfield Creamery 100th Birthday Bash in Piedmont Park – 6/17
- The Great Georgia Balloon Festival at the Atlanta Motor Speedway – June 16th and 17th.
- The Summer Solstice marks a time of celebration, of honoring the light, and our connection to the sun + the earth. Colony Square will welcome the sunrise on Friday, June 16th from 6:00am to 7:30am.
- Alive in Roswell is a free, family-friendly monthly festival with music, food trucks, vendors and more held every third Thursday from April to October on Historic Canton Street. Thursday, June 15 from 5 – 9 p.m.
- Want to get out of the city this weekend? Try scenic hiking trails, the shores of Lake Lanier, the idyllic grounds of Callaway Gardens or the serene beauty of Serenbe.
- The Museum of Illusions is open at Atlantic Station.

- Zoo Atlanta will celebrate “Willie B. Day” on Father’s Day. You may enjoy special Keeper Talks from the Gorilla Care Team, interactive educational activities on the Takamenda Gorilla Deck and a chance to spot the late legend’s newest grandchild, Willie B. III. Activities will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Celebrate Father’s Day at Family Food Fest Atlanta, a multicultural charity fundraiser and food-tasting event that brings families together to enjoy a wide array of delicious dishes. Sunday, June 18 from 3 – 6 p.m
- CoComelon Party Time – Step into the vibrant world of CoComelon with an immersive experience designed for little kids. Friday, June 16 – Sunday, June 25.
- Embark on an intergalactic learning experience with Captain Healthy and Safety Dog in this puppet show for kids ages 4–1. Wednesday, June 14 – Sunday, July 2

- Dino Safari A Walk Thru Adventure 6/1/23 – 9/4/23 at North Point Mall
- Immersive Disney Animation is an innovative celebration that takes you inside the greatest films of Walt Disney Animation Studios, from their very earliest, groundbreaking features to the beloved hit movies of today from 5/4/23 to 9/30/23.
- “Shaun the Sheep: Flock this Way” opens Saturday at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta and runs through Sept. 4.
- Saturday at 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM Craft Time for Kids East Atlanta Library
- Opening Saturday and running through Sept. 4 at Fernbank Museum of Natural History, “Survival of the Slowest” is all about slow-moving animals.
- Fernbank Museum of Natural History opens an outdoor exhibit, “Flora, Fauna & Flight”. The exhibit runs through Aug. 27.
- Illuminarium has launched a new addition to its SPACE spectacle, an interactive James Webb Space Telescope Experience
Sports, fitness & outdoors:
- See elite fighters from the Professional Fighters League (PFL)starting at 6 p.m. Friday at Overtime Elite Arena at Atlantic Station.
- The Atlanta Braves and the Colorado Rockies play four games at Truist Park starting Thursday and running through Sunday. There is a Pride ticket package for the Thursday game, which begins at 7:20 p.m.
- Juneteenth ATL 5K at Chastain Park
- Atlanta Beltline Weekly Run Group – Westside
- Cheer on the Atlanta Braves from the comfort of Midtown’s Living Room! In partnership with Bally Sports, Colony Square will be showing select Braves games on The Plaza big screen.
