  • The annual Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival is scheduled for March 23 and 24, 2024 from 10AM to 6PM in Brookhaven’s Blackburn Park. This FREE festival includes performances from National headliners, +LIVE+, Barenaked Ladies, Moon Taxi, Crash Test Dummies, and more! The family-friendly festival has a little fun for everyone – a Saturday morning Classic Car Show, Artist Market, Kidz Zone, Food Trucks, and a 5K race on Saturday, March 16. 
  • Butterfly Lantern Parade – March 23rd in Hapeville. Enjoy local art vendors, food, and our creation station! The parade will begin at 8:10 in the park and everyone is always invited to make a butterfly lantern and walk in the parade with Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons and Seed & Feed Marching Abominables! Parade attire is floral galore!
  • The Balloon Museum at Pullman Yards is flying high through April 14.
  • The Atlanta Fair is cruising into town once again from MARCH 1 – APRIL 7, 2024, across from the Georgia State Stadium, in the lot at the intersection of Central Ave SW and Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. 
  • The Lake Lanier Boat Show is scheduled for March 22-24 on the docks of Margaritaville at Lanier Islands.

  • March 24th at 3PM – Easter Egg Hunt and Family Activities at Bessie Branham Park
  • Join the Atlanta History Center for their second annual Easter Egg Hunt on the beautiful Swan House lawn. This family-friendly program includes egg hunts (for ages 1–3 and 4–10), face-painting, a balloon artist, sheep shearing demonstration, photos with the Easter Bunny, and more.
  • It is time for the 15th Annual West End Egg Hunt Saturday, March 23 at 10 AM. Come out for food, fun, and hundreds of eggs for children 12 and under. 
  • The Easter Bunny and RNA board wanted to invite everyone from the neighborhood to the 4th Annual Riverside Easter Egg Hunt. 
  • NINJAGO: Dragon’s Rising March 21st – 24th from 10-5 PM at LEGO Discovery Center
  • The Atlanta Science Festival hosts it’s two weeks of science-related activities on Saturday. Kids and adults alike can dive into a range of topics ranging from coding and astronomy to nature walks and robotics. The festival culminates in the Exploration Expo (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 23 in Piedmont Park). It is a free, family-friendly event with hands-on activities and shows.
  • Dino Festival at Stone Mountain Park runs through April 28. Check the Stone Mountain Park website for specific times and dates for various events.
  • The popular exhibit Flora, Fauna & Flight returns to Fernbank Museum of Natural History on Saturday March 23rd and continues through June 23. 
  • “Spiders — From Fear to Fascination” is on view at Fernbank Museum of Natural History through May 5. 
  • The Children’s Museum of Atlanta hosts “Outside the Box”. The exhibit runs through May 5. “Outside the Box” aims to fuel children’s imaginations by unleashing a world of timeless fun.
