  • Mariah Carey: Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time this Saturday Nov 23, 2024 at 7:30 PM at State Farm Arena
  • Jo Koy is at the Fox this Saturday November 23rd
  • Atlanta Comedy Bus Tour – Satruday from 2-3:30
  • ASW Distillery presents a Singer-Songwriter Showcase featuring local talent on Saturday from 1 to 5 pm
  • The High exhibit, “Tyler Mitchell: Idyllic Space,” features the photographer and filmmaker’s works that center on Black self-determination and empowerment through scenes of love, leisure and camaraderie. 
  • The exhibit, “Characters: Type in Action,” is open at MODA (the Museum of Design Atlanta). The exhibit delves into the impact of typography on social justice, examining its history and its role in today’s movements.
  • First Voices Festival, a celebration of indigenous cultures, opens at 7 Stages Theatre on Thursday and continues through Nov. 24. Events include a performance about what it means to be multiracial in America; a pow-wow; and a screening of “Bad River.”
  • See “Hamlet, Prince of Denmark” at Shakespeare Tavern Saturday through Dec. 1. 
  • The Alliance Theatre’s annual production of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” begins on Saturday and runs through Dec. 24. 
  • A new exhibit, “Golden Opportunity: Botanical Illustration,” is at Fernbank Museum through Jan. 1, 2025. 
  • The exhibit, “Giants from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys” is open at the High Museum of Art through Jan. 19, 2025.
  • The exhibit, “Golden Opportunity: Botanical Illustration,” is open at Fernbank Museum of Natural History through Jan. 1, 2025. The exhibit showcases the art and science found in yellow plants. 
  • Atlantic Station hosts Creator’s Market from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Saturdays and noon until 7 p.m. Sundays, every weekend through December.

  • GVG Events and Midtown Alliance are excited to present Midtown Artisan Market- Holiday Edition on Sunday 11/24/24!
    This event will showcase 40 of the best local artists, vintage curators and handmade artisans from around the Southeast!

  • Tucker Holiday Market at Tucker Brewing Company this Saturday – Come support local from 12pm – 5pm
  • The Georgia Festival of Trees begins on Saturday and continues through Dec. 1. The festival features a forest of fully-decorated Christmas trees available for auction, live music and entertainment, visits with Santa, boutique gift shops, sugar cookie decorating and a Christmas Gingerbread competition. Plus, Penny the Pink Pig will make her debut this year during the festival. 
  • Experience the magic of the holiday season at Atlanta Christkindl Market, a fusion of traditional German festivities and the spirit of Atlanta. 
  • Atlantic Station’s Celebration at the Station begins on Friday and runs through Dec. 25. Skate the Station at the ice-skating rink while listening to holiday classics. Bring back the British Invasion during the holiday parade, followed by the annual lighting of the tree on Atlantic Green at Light the Station on Saturday. 
  • The annual holiday extravaganza Stone Mountain Christmas begins on Saturday at Stone Mountain Park and continues through Jan. 5, 2025. 
  • During Holidays at Georgia Aquarium you’ll find a completely transformed atrium with festive music, winter inspired projections and our 40-foot live tree. There will be photos with Santa, daily lighting of our tree and holiday-themed dolphin presentations. All the swimmers at the aquarium cannot wait to sea you. Festivities begin Friday and continue through Jan. 2, 2025.

  • Fernbank Museum of Natural History once again brings WildWoods Aglow to Atlanta. It is on exhibit through Feb. 23, 2025. 
  • The Armored Animals exhibit at Fernbank Museum of Natural History tells a story of protection and defense through artifacts, spiny displays and casts from animals like fish and dinosaurs. The exhibit will be on display through Jan. 5, 2025.  
  • Zoo Atlanta’s annual IllumiNights showcases vistas of brilliantly illuminated wildlife and captivating sights that celebrate the wonders of nature. This year, the zoo introduces new lanterns and experiences, transforming Zoo Atlanta into a nighttime wonderland. IllumiNights opens Thursday and continues through Jan. 19, 2025.
  • The Center for Puppetry Arts presents its annual production of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” starting Thursday and continuing through Dec. 29. 
  • Children’s Museum of Atlanta’s fall featured exhibit, “Wallace & Gromit: Get Cracking,” The exhibit will educate and entertain kids through Jan. 12, 2025. 

Sports, fitness & outdoors:

  • Atlanta Botanical Garden’s annual lighting extravaganza, Garden Lights, Holiday Nights, begins on Saturday and continues through Jan. 12, 2025.
  • The Georgia State men’s basketball team plays North Carolina Central at 7 p.m. Friday at the GSU Convocation Center.
  • The Georgia Tech men’s basketball team plays Cincinnati at McCamish Pavilion at 2 p.m. Saturday.
  • Hank Aaron Exhibit at Atlanta History Center.
