  • Head to Historic Fourth Ward Park on Saturday  as the Atlanta Wine & Jazz Fest runs from noon until 7 p.m.
  • This Saturday, experience Beltline After Dark, a spectacular FREE two-day performance arts and music festival taking place along the vibrant Westside Trail. 
  • Through October, start your month off with lots of laughs from The Punchline Comedy featuring live comedy acts, drinks specials, and more! The performances occur on the first Monday of the month, last about 90 minutes, and are recommended for ages 13 and older. Next event: Monday June 5th.
  • Grrrls Nite Out – Laughing Skull Lounge – June 4th
  • Garden Disco on Edgewood at Georgia Beer Garden Saturday, June 3rd.
  • Creator’s Market at Atlantic Station – 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, June 3 and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 4 – events.accessatlanta.com
  • Out Front Theatre is the site for Queernival on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. The event, which kicks off Pride Month, features drinks, games, food trucks and performances.
  • The Tony Award-winning play “Hairspray” stops at the Fox Theatre through Sunday. 
  • Get ready to be blown away by the monthly improv showcase happening at Joystick. This unique event is a mix of pure entertainment and creative collaboration. 8:30-10 p.m. on Friday, June 2nd

  • UPS Second Sunday – High Museum of Art High Museum of Art offers free admission on the second Sunday of each month, making breathtaking art accessible to all. The whole family can enjoy special exhibits, art-making workshops and performances. June 11th.

  • Experience the lively Sundown Social in Sandy Springs, a neighborhood gathering with live music, great food and signature cocktails. Don’t miss out on the exciting calendar of themed events and entertainment each week. Select Thursdays (June 15, 22 and 29) at 5:30 p.m.
  • Experience Atlanta’s Juneteenth Parade and Festival, a celebration of freedom and unity featuring live music, cultural activities, delectable cuisine, and a vibrant parade. Friday, June 16 – Sunday, June 18.
  • Celebrate Juneteenth at historic Oakland Cemetery with a family-friendly event featuring live music, food vendors, children’s storytelling, tours, a vendor market and more. Join in honoring the significance of Juneteenth and the achievements and economic reconstruction of the African American community. Saturday, June 17 from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. 
  • Celebrate Juneteenth at the Atlanta History Center with live music, food, storytelling, interactive crafts and workshops on Black genealogy and preserving family artifacts.
  • Celebrate Father’s Day at the College Football Hall of Fame with complimentary admission for dads (with one paid ticket) and a chance to win a $25 gift card to The Home Depot for the first 100 dads. Enjoy interactive fun on the indoor football field and create lasting memories with your dad.
  • Alive in Roswell is a free, family-friendly monthly festival with music, food trucks, vendors and more held every third Thursday from April to October on Historic Canton Street. Thursday, June 15 from 5 – 9 p.m.
  • The Summer Solstice marks a time of celebration, of honoring the light, and our connection to the sun + the earth. Colony Square will welcome the sunrise on Friday, June 16th from 6:00am to 7:30am.  
  • Taste On The Square on June 22, 2023 from 7PM – 10PM at The Plaza
  • Don’t forget to grab your Kirkwood Wine Stroll Tickets before the prices go up or tickets sell out!
  • The Great Georgia Balloon Festival  at the Atlanta Motor Speedway – June 16th and 17th.
  • Join the Pride Party at Chattahoochee Food Works for a celebration filled with live entertainment, delicious food and a chance to win the “Best Pride Fit” title by showcasing your best rainbow-themed attire. Saturday, June 24 from 5 – 10 p.m.

  • Mary J. Blige and Lauren Hill bring the Strength of a Woman Festival to State Farm Arena Friday and Saturday. 
  • Start your weekends unwinding with live musical performances in The Colony Square Plaza every Friday from April to October.
  • Fox Theatre presents a benefit concert to raise money to preserve Georgia’s historic theaters and expand the Fox Theatre’s education programs.
  • On Saturday and Sunday the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra presents “Star Wars: The Force Awakens In Concert” featuring a screening of the complete film with Oscar-winning composer John Williams’ musical score performed live to the film. Saturday’s performance starts at 7:30 p.m., Sunday’s at 3 p.m.
  • The city of Atlanta presents 31 Days of Jazz throughout May
  • The Woodstock Summer Concert Series in Woodstock returns – All concerts begin at 7:30 PM. All concerts are free of charge, no tickets are required.

  • Ruthless! The Musical‘ is showing at Out Front Theatre through May 20.

  • Shaky Knees Music Festival is back for its TENTH year! This rockin’ festival takes place on May 5-7 at Central Park and will feature more than 60 bands, including headliners like The Killers, Muse, and The Lumineers, performing on four different stages.
  • Head to downtown Decatur this weekend for the Decatur Arts Festival. Headlining Friday night is the ArtWalk. Stroll the streets with music in the air and refreshments available. The Artists Market, featuring the work of 140 artists, opens Saturday and continues through Sunday. In addition, there will be music, comedy, theater performances and a Kids’ Fest.
  • The Fox Theatre presents two big concerts this weekend. The Gipsy Kings perform Friday at 8 p.m., and Seal brings his World Tour to the Fox at 8 p.m. on Saturday. 
  • Jill Scott: Who Is Jill Scott? 5/6/23 at 8:00 PM at Cadence Bank Amphitheatre
  • Classical music lovers should head to the Woodruff Arts Center where principle guest conductor Donald Runnicles will conduct Mahler Symphony No. 5 Thursday and Saturday, both concerts at 8 p.m.

  • Olympic and world champions and American and world record-holders will compete under the lights at the inaugural Adidas Atlanta City Games, set to be held Saturday in Centennial Olympic Park. The event is free and open to the public.
  • The Atlanta Braves take on the Baltimore Orioles. Game time is 7:20 p.m. Friday, and fans should stay after the last out for Friday Night Fireworks. Saturday’s game starts at 7:15 p.m., and, prior to the first pitch, fans can enjoy music at the Georgia Power Pavilion stage at The Battery. On Sunday, with game time at 11:35 a.m., there is a sunglasses giveaway. 
  • Rugby ATL takes on the Chicago Hounds at 6 p.m. Saturday at Silverbacks Park. 
  • Colony Square is having a Kentucky Derby Party Saturday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. 
  • The Mitsubishi Electric Classic returns to the metro Atlanta area May 1 – 7, 2023 and looks forward to welcoming players on PGA TOUR Champions

  • The Atlanta Hawks bring their playoff battle with the Boston Celtics to State Farm Arena Friday and Sunday. Tip off for both games is 7 p.m.
  • Atlanta United FC faces Chicago Fire FC at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. 
  • It’s the Atlanta Braves vs. the Houston Astros all weekend at Truist Park. Fans who attend the Friday night game (first pitch at 7:20 p.m.) will get to enjoy Friday Night Fireworks after the game. Saturday’s game also starts at 7:20 p.m. On Sunday (game time 1:30 pm.), the first 3,000 kids through the gate will receive a Michael Harris II “Money Mike” piggy bank. 
  • Yaarab Shrine Center is the place to be on Saturday to watch the Atlanta Roller Derby‘s Dirty South Derby play Jacksonville Roller Derby. The fun begins at 7:03 p.m. 
  • Zoo Atlanta Plant Sale is this Saturday from 8 AM – 2 PM
  • Sunday from 3 PM – 5 PM is the Wylde Gardening Series: Grow your own Basil from Seed Class
  • Earth Day Fun and Plant Sale – The Grant Park Farmers Market – SUNDAY AT 9 AM
